Got some great news today!! I called the hospital and spoke to my mother's doctor and it seems that she is beating all of the odds! She is breathing on her own and has come out of her coma. She is still in bad shape but is getting stronger everyday! They are still unsure of how much damage was done to her brain from the stroke but she is trying to talk and is responding to people now. She isn't moving her body, but doctors aren't sure yet whether she is paralyzed from the stroke or just really weak. I can't make it up there just yet, it's a 10 hour drive for me and dont' really have anyone to watch my children, but hope to make it up next weekend.
