I guess it's never too late to get a fresh start....although dating might be problematic.

The Daily Telegraph reports that in 2008, Bertie Wood and her husband, Jessie, ofFalmouth had decided to end their 36-year marriage, evidently at apoint where they felt they needed a fresh start. Both were 97 years oldat the time. Jessie has since died, and Bertie lives in a nursing home.[Daily Telegraph, 11-9-09]

One of my neighbors (married 54 years) has an uncle that asks his dog if "he would rather be dead or married" and the dog immediately rolls over on his back and throws all four legs straight up in the air.
