Hi, this is a discussion of course I will have with my lawyer.  Just want to know other's feedback on this.   My ex keeps trying to leverage the words of our nine year old boy saying, "well our son said you did blah blah blah".    I know these things aren't true.  I am kind of wondering if I should just sit down with him at a table and videotape the conversation.   I have no one else, and don't trust GAL to do the interview.

let me know what you think, and if anyone has done this before.

We audio taped the kids once without them knowing.... Just to have it at least on tape in case we needed it. You cant use the tape in court but the child can be either called in as a witness or you can ask the judge to talk to the child and give some questions you would like to see addressed. You could also ask for a meeting with the GAL and child and when you get in there, ask child the concerns and let the GAL listen.
