SPARC Visitation FAQ

33. My ex and I have joint custody. Does he have a right to say where the kids are staying when I go on vacation?
If the children are going with you, no, not unless the parenting plan says he does. If the children aren't>/i> going with you, then yes, he has some say on where the children will reside during that time. This is a generally accepted provision in most joint custody situations.
