My ex wants me to share 1/2 of school expenses, clothes, shoes, supplies, etc. Isn't that what child support is for?
Child support is indeed supposed to cover all the things your ex is asking for you to pay
extra on. You aren't liable for extra expenses unless it states so in the support order. In
other words, you aren't obligated to pay for anything beyond the specified support
amount.
